Winners of the 8th Annual Marco Island Center for the Arts Golf Tournament

Marco Island Center for the Arts held its 8th Annual Golf Tournament presented by Integrity Insurance International, Inc. on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Island Country Club. The event was chaired by Bruce Robertson. It was a great day for golf! Here are the winners:

Overall Division First Place winners were Justin Hanna, Josh Brown, Kevin Brown, and Will Moore. Second Place went to Dennis Holewinski, Jay King, Paul Gustafson, and Bob Theriault.

Awards for First Place in the Ladies Division were given to players Mary Pat Palombo, Joan Myers, Mary Appollina, and Pam Petill with Second Place awards going to Roe Tamagni, Helen Donaghy, Brandy Simpson, and Nancy Collins.

In the “Over 65” Division, First Place Awards went to Thomas O’Reilly, Mike Pangborn, and Tom Swartz. The Second Place Award winners in the “Over 65” division were Sally Taylor, Karin Cohn, Donald Lesher, and Nancy Lesher.

In closest to the pin competitions Nancy Collins was awarded for the Ladies and Ron Myers for the Men’s Division. Longest Drive awards were given to Colleen Callahan in Ladies and Matt Huneke in Men’s. Josh Brown, Dennis Holewinski, Weldon Birdwell, Nancy Collins, and Dick Glaisner were top finishers in the Putting Contest.

Sponsors for the 8th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Marco Island Center for the Arts included presenting sponsor Integrity Insurance International, Inc.; Par Sponsors, Mary Pat and Aldo Palombo; Cart Sponsor, Classic Transportation; and Hole in One Sponsors, The Darrow Group.

Joining the participants at the event this year were the Naples High School Boys Team sponsored by Art Center board member Will Rheiner. Rheiner sponsored the team of Willem Jaron, Koty Horton, Chris Wieschowski and Sam Kodak in an effort to encourage young people to participate in the Art Center and support the arts in Collier County. The Art Center strives to be inclusive and provide opportunities for people of all ages.
