The Gallery Might Be Closed… But the Show Must Go On

The Marco Island Center for the Arts is now accepting submissions for both its Collier County High School Art Competition and its Adult Art Student Show. 

Collier County High School Art Show and Exhibition 

Since 1983, the Marco Island Center for the Arts has held an art show competition for Collier County high school students and this year it will be held in the virtual gallery and chosen by popular vote through our social media platforms. Students will be given an opportunity to engage with their art classes from home and create work to submit for this virtual show.  

Marco Island Center for the Arts Adult Student Show 

Adult students who participated in classes at Marco Island Center for the Arts from October 1, 2019, through March 16, 2020, are eligible to show their work in a virtual exhibition judged Jack O’Brien. The winners will be announced online on May 8, 2020.  

Each of these two shows are accepting artwork submissions through 5 PM, April 30, 2020. For more information on how to submit artwork for these virtual art show, please call 239-394-4221 or email
