SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE BEGINS MAILING SAMPLE BALLOTS FOR THE AUGUST 14th PRIMARY ELECTION

The Supervisor of Elections Office has mailed nearly 129,000 sample ballots for the August 14th Primary Election.  Sample ballots were sent to every registered voter who has not requested a mail/absentee ballot.  Voters are encouraged to complete their sample ballot and use it as a guide when voting at the poll.

Registered voters may exercise their right to vote in one of three ways:  during Early Voting, by mail/absentee ballot, or at their assigned precinct on Election Day.

Early Voting begins July 30th and ends August 11th and is offered Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at seven locations – the Supervisor of Elections Office, Everglades City Hall, Naples City Hall, Golden Gate Library, Headquarters Library, Immokalee Library and Marco Island Library.

Any registered voter may request and vote a mail/absentee ballot.  If you have not requested a mail/absentee ballot for the Primary Election and want to vote by mail, you may submit your request online at www.CollierVotes.com.  Click on the ‘Vote by Mail’ tab at the top of the page and follow the online instructions.  Requests may also be made by calling the Supervisor of Elections Office at (239) 252-8450.

On Election Day – August 14th – the polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and voters must vote at their assigned precinct.  Assigned precinct locations are indicated on the voter’s information card and are also indicated on the sample ballot mailing along with a map of the location.
