Spooky Spooktacular

By Coastal Breeze News Staff

B14-15-CBN-10-30-15-2It was a gathering of ghosts, goblins and ghouls, as well as a variety of dancers, princesses and so many more! Hundreds of children came dressed as their favorite characters. It was another fantastic year for Halloween Spooktacular at Mackle Park. The Parks and Rec Department organized a fun family event complete with music,

arts and crafts, games, face painting, petting zoo and pumpkin patch. There was plenty of good food thanks to the Optimist Club.

The annual costume contest was a challenge to judge with so many great costumes! Each entrant was given a goodie-stuffed pumpkin and winners in each age group received a gift bag. Judges were members of the Parks and Rec Advisory Committee: Dolores Siegel, Mike Levine

and Val Simon.
