The stars are back for the 14th Annual Southwest Florida Soapfest Charity Weekend. The popular event will be held November 9 – 11 and will feature a dozen of television’s daytime actors at local events all in the name of children’s charities.

What began in 1998 as a fundraiser for the Marco Island Film Festival, Soapfest has grown by way of stars, events and charitable donations. This year’s proceeds will go to Eden Florida’s Eimermann Center and Camp Able. The Eimermann Center is an outreach service for children with autism, while Camp Able is a camp for special needs children.

This year’s daytime stars are Eddie Alderson, Melissa Archer, Susan Haskell and Sean Ringgold of “One Life to Live,” Kristen Alderson of “General Hospital,” Walt Willey, Jeff Branson, and Thorsten Kaye of “All My Children,” Jessica Collins and Christian Jules LeBlanc of “Young and the Restless,” Tom Pelphrey of “Guiding Light” and Erik Valdez, known for his performance in the short film, “Ride the Wake.”
