Our Daily Bread Food Pantry is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members, Allyson Richards and Rick Marcantonio, to its Executive Board. The appointments, effective in January 2021, mark a significant step for the Collier County non-profit organization’s achievement of a multi-year strategic plan. Founded in 2016, the original four-person Executive Board determined to expand the number of seats in its fifth year.
“As Our Daily Bread celebrates its fifth anniversary, we find ourselves looking back to see how in pivotal moments of growth—including the rapid increase for food relief after Hurricane Irma and during the COVID pandemic—it was the generosity of local individuals that made the impossible possible,” said Liz Pecora, Founding Executive Board Member and Our Daily Bread Food Pantry’s VP of Development and Communications. “Looking forward, it is this same generosity that will carry us into our next era of organizational growth and continued service. Rick and Allyson embody strategic expertise and philanthropic experience which not only strengthens our Executive Board but benefits all our guests who visit the Pantry.”
