On June 30, the Marco Island Noontime Rotary Club said a heartfelt thank you to Lynne Minozzi, departing president of the club and welcomed Jennifer Tenney, as incoming president, with a passing of the gavel.

In her farewell speech, Lynne thanked the 2015-2016 Rotary Club’s board of directors for a fantastic year and highlighted some of the projects and special events that the club undertook during her tenure.   Those projects include the Annual Sprit Awards Gala, the successful Seafood Festival collaboration with the Sunrise Rotary Club and the Kiwanis, International Projects, such as, Clubfoot Foundation and Eyeglasses for Mexico along with Educate the Children, Medical Mission in the Philippines and the Wheelchair Project.  “Whenever there is a need, our members rise to the occasion” said Minozzi “We just don’t recite the 4-Way Test each week, we live by those words”.
