Night Lights in the Garden

This annual exhibit has gained popularity to become a holiday season ‘mustdo’ tradition in our family. The evening our family attended it was bitter cold something we couldn’t have known when purchasing tickets. Two of our tickets were at half price as members of Naples Botanical Garden, the rest were $30 each. Patchouli and Terra Guitarra were performing as the duo—they’re a favorite in our family.

Before we entered the Gardens for the leisure walk, we stopped in the Fogg Café for a bite to eatand a last moment of warmth. We dined on Wagyu burgers, mushroom stuffed raviolifish tacos and an order of French Fries that was enough to feed us all. We enjoyed the café’s trendy selections with our favorite icecold beer and red wine. The food never disappoints at the café and this night was no exception.

After dinner, we made our way out to listen to the entertainment before we took in the full exhibit. The performance was very enjoyable seated on uniquely lit stools in the lawn area. As we strolled the gardens it started to warm a bit in true Florida style; it wasn’t cold for long. We found the transformation of the garden in the evening with its brilliant lit hues a totally different experience from the daytime.

On our way out of the garden, we stopped by the Berger Shop and found a couple of unique Christmas gift ideas. This was my first time in the store but will make it a point to visit it in the future.

The Garden is worth the trip, whether it be daytime or night, we always have a relaxing time at the Garden. It is also an ideal outdoor space for social distancing for the healthconscious. For more information go to naplesgarden.org.
