Nashville songwriter and Collier County EMS first responder, Tim McGeary will star in J.Robert’s Songwriter Showcase Encore 9/11 Tribute from 7-10 PM on Monday, September 11, 2017.

Tim McGeary’s songs have been tapped for such hit television shows as “Smallville,” “One Tree Hill” and “Glory Days.” A retired Collier County firefighter and paramedic, Tim was among the emergency personnel who went to New York to help out at Ground Zero in the wake of 9/11.

The Florida Songwriter Showcase will conclude its 13-week summer series with this special 9/11 Tribute featuring patriotic songs of Florida songwriters. Following Tim’s feature presentation, McGeary will entertainaQ&Afromtheaudience,then join J.Robert, Andy Wahlberg, Alan Bradford, Gator Nate and Marie Nofsinger in a Florida Songwriter Circle with original stories and songs ranging in style from southern rock, blues and country to folk and rock ‘n roll.

This event is produced and directed by J.Robert Houghtaling, a songwriter and master fiddler who has developed friendships with many talented songwriters. “Each artist is a treasure trove of stories and songs,” says J.Robert. “The radio plays hit songs…here we share heart songs!”

The Marco Players Theater is located at Marco Town Center Mall, 1089 N. Collier Blvd., Marco Island. Tickets are $20 each or two for $30. Tickets available at the box office or by calling 239-642-7270.
