Marco Island’s largest Flea Market will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1101 N. Collier Boulevard.
The annual giant flea market is the place to find one-of-a-kind treasures and great bargains. It’s bigger than ever this year, and the St. Mark’s storage shed is bulging. There will be lots of surprises and finds in the Ladies Boutique, Women’s and Men’s Departments, Housewares, Kids Corner, Books, Linens, and the very popular Jewelry Counter.
“The annual flea market is not only a fundraiser for St. Mark’s ministries and outreach programs, it benefits the entire community,” says Cheryl Mueller, a volunteer for the event, which is hosted by the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Women. “Our storage building is filled to the max with all kinds of unique items that have been donated throughout the year.” Several dedicated volunteers sort weekly to help manage all the different departments.
The tents will be up on February 22nd, with the doors open at 8 AM. Come early and grab a cup of coffee and a donut. Plan to spend the day; find some great bargains, enjoy the music, and enjoy a grilled hot dog or pulled pork sandwich in the Food Booth. The fresh strawberry shortcake is back again this year. Don’t miss this once-a-year annual huge flea market. It’s BIG, and it’s an annual Marco Island tradition.
If you would like to volunteer and be a part of the festivities contact Carol Pippen at 239-394- 7679 or email@example.com, or stop by the St. Mark’s church office. You are always welcome at St. Mark’s and a helping hand is always appreciated and welcomed at our Flea Market. Join in this great community event. It’s a great way to meet new friends while helping others.
