On December 10th, Debbie Rago, President of the Marco Island Woman’s Club, and Joyce Frame, Vice President, presented a check for $2,000 to Suanne Woeste, Co-Coordinator of the Greater Naples Fire Foundation 2020 Toy Drive. The funds were donated by Club members that are participating in the Club’s monthly “Lunch Money” campaign.
“COVID has negatively impacted so many local families this year,” said Ms. Rago. “We are grateful that thanks to the generosity of our members, the Woman’s Club is able to support the Fire Foundation’s efforts to provide Christmas gifts and joy to area children.”
Ms. Woeste stated that the Fire Foundation will be distributing gifts to children aged 12 and under that live in Collier County on December 21st and 22nd. The Foundation is accepting online applications from families in need of assistance at www.toydrivecommand.com.
