Kiwanis Toys for Kids program

The City Manager, Jim Riviere, pulled the lucky winning tickets for the 50/50 and bicycle raffles sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Marco Island. All proceeds went to our annual Toys for Kids program. $1,250 went to Kyle Leonia and John Fellows won the bicycle. Featured in the photo is left to right Doug Klooz, Jim Riviere, Dan Benedict, chairperson of the Toys for Kids committee, and Julie Klooz. These three people plus Mary Benedict worked tirelessly to make this year’s program a great success.

For details on the financial success of the program, please call Bryan Hauser.

Gifts were given to the children at Manatee Elementary School, Tommie Barfield Elementary School, The Shelter for Abused Women and Children, needy families and distributed thru the Fire Department just to name a few recipients of the program.
