It’s a celebration of fun, family and life!
On April 18, 2015, at Mackle Park on beautiful Marco Island, there was a festival of sorts. There were games, food, entertainment, and ceremonies honoring the loved ones of many who were present. It was a festival of fun for people of all ages! That festival was the Relay For Life of Marco Island, presented by Robert J. Flugger. It was a celebration of life that raised $278,000 for the American Cancer Society, making the Relay For Life of Marco Island the third highest fundraising Relay event in the State of Florida. Those funds go toward research and support programs for cancer patients and their families. Those funds are saving lives!
The Marco Island office of the American Cancer Society invites you to attend the Kickoff of the 2016 Relay For Life of Marco Island, once again presented by Robert J. Flugger. The Kickoff will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 10 AM-11:30 AM at Mackle Park. Come and learn the story of the Relay For Life, the legacy of one person whose dream became a global movement. Come and learn the meaning of “Paint Your World Purple!” There will be food, games, prizes, face painting and fun for the whole family. Bring the kids! The Kickoff party will be a sneak peek at the fun and festivities of the Relay For Life to be held on April 9, 2016. Be sure to save that date!
