On Sunday, Nov. 16, the Island Parks & Recreation Foundation and city of Marco Island Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting its annual Jolley Be Good Bridge 5K Run/Walk.
The race route travels in the northbound lanes of Collier Boulevard, crosses the Jolley Bridge and returns going south in the northbound lanes of Collier. During the race, the northbound lanes of Collier will be temporarily closed approximately from 6:45-10:00 AM. Traffic flow will continue on and off the bridge using southbound lanes and the side streets will remain open. Please allow enough time to get to your destination and expect minor traffic delays.
Northbound Collier Boulevard residents and business owners are being asked to please move their vehicles to nearby side streets on Saturday, Nov. 15, if they need to get out of their driveways the morning of the race on Sunday, Nov. 16. Your assistance in this matter to ensure the safety of all Marco Island drivers, pedestrians, runners and walkers is appreciated. We encourage you to join us, and truly appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
