“We are thrilled to have been selected by IBERIABANK as the recipient of their school supply drive,” said Grace Place Founder and Executive Director Stephanie Munz Campbell. “These school supplies will make a tremendous difference in the lives and well-being of children whose families are at or near the Federal Poverty level. Last year, we helped 350 students, and we hope to achieve that number in 2012.”
Founded in 2004, Grace Place is a faith-based, non-profit neighborhood center teaching literacy, language and life skills to at-risk children and impoverished families in Golden Gate city. Each week, the center serves an average of 800 individuals through its education programming and food pantry.
Since 1981, Children’s Advocacy of SouthwestFlorida, Inc. (CAC) has advocated for a healthy, safe community for children through a multidisciplinary team approach to child abuse and neglect. The Agency’s mission is to improve the lives of children and their families through a coordinated response to child abuse and neglect.
