Excitement mounts for the historical happening at the Smallwood Music Festival on Saturday, January 31, in Everglades City but VIP seating is limited.
Clyde Butcher has contributed a photo for the auction and Muffy Clark Gill has two of her tiles on the roster. Cindy Hackney is working on a new song about Everglades & Chokoloskee for this fun fundraiser.
An array of South Florida musical stars are donating their time & talents for the Smallwood Music Festival which will benefit the beleaguered museum. Some familiar names on the program are Raiford Starke, Nate the Gladesman, J. Robert, Snooker Joe Stem, and Val Wisecracker who have all been gathered by Pete Gallagher.
Arrive early, any time after 10:00 a.m., to avoid the rush and browse among the Arts & Crafts sale where vendors will offer everything from fine art to pottery, books, and jewelry.
The event takes place on the lawn behind the Rod & Gun Club in Everglades City with music from 11:00 a.m.until dark. General admission is $10 with priority seating at $40. You can book in advance atwww.evergladeshistorical.org where there is also a link to FaceBook.
