Grace Place for Children and Families in Golden Gate City’s sixth annual “A Swing of Grace” golf outing is scheduled for April 22, 2017 at Wyndemere Country Club.
The entry fee is $225 per golfer and $900 for a foursome. Sponsorships are still available. Information is under the “Get Involved” section on the Grace Place website at www.graceplacenaples.org.
The entry fee includes lunch, on-course refreshments, 18-holes of golf, golf cart rental, greens fee, range balls, and an auction and a strolling dinner following the outing. The Grace Place Children’s Chorus will also perform, followed by a Grace Place student guest speaker.
“A Swing of Grace” began in 2012 and is the signature fundraising event for Grace Place. One-hundred percent of the proceeds benefit Grace Place’s educational programs: the nationally recognized Bright Beginnings, Academy of Leaders K-12 after-school program, the AP Leadership program and Adult Education.
In 2016, 216 golfers hit the greens at the Wyndemere Country Club, netting a phenomenal $168,000 for the organization. “A Swing of Grace” Chair, Erik Lutgert, praises the event committee and the sponsors that have helped plan and support the 2017 event.
In addition to Mr. Lutgert, the 2017 Committee members include Jim Bosscher, Ted Corbin, Barbara Evans, Andy Guenette, Ashlea Heck, Tracy Moffat, Russell Peterson, Phil Plessinger and Nita Rapp.
Arthrex is the presenting sponsor of the event for the second year. Other sponsors include Conditioned Air, Gulf Coast Construction, MHK Architecture & Planning, Publix, Somersworth Hyundai, Waste Management, Clive Daniel, David Corban Architect, Culver’s, Premier Sotheby’s, Northern Trust, General Air & Plumbing, The Lockup Self-Storage, Lutgert Insurance, Manhattan Construction Group, Stancel Concrete, and The Village Shops on Venetian Bay.
