The Marco Island Center for the Arts Art Flicks film series has come to an end for the season, with the showing of the Danish film, “Babette’s Feast.” The Art Flicks series features special showings of foreign, independent and art films. This season’s program, themed “Food, Glorious Food!” was a huge success.
Although Art Flicks has ended, the Center will be bringing audiences more wonderful movies to enjoy.
On April 8 Classic Movie Nights begins with “On the Waterfront,” and the series will continue on the second Friday of each month, through August. For all showings, doors will open at 6:30 PM with the movie starting at 7:00 PM.
Mark your calendars for “Notorious” on May 13, “A Hard Day’s Night” on June 10, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” on July 8, and “Casablanca” on August 12.
Classic Movie Nights will take place at the Marco Island Center for the Arts (not Marco Movies). Marco Island Center for the Arts is located at 1010 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island. For further information please visit www.marcoislandart.org.
