The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), in conjunction with its national travel and tourism PR agency, Lou Hammond & Associates (LHA), is holding a free PR Seminar for representatives of businesses involved in tourism and hospitality in Collier County, such as hotels, attractions, retail stores, restaurants, tour operators, etc. The seminar takes place Thursday, June 14 from 8:30am to 11:00am at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort, located at 400 S. Collier Blvd., Marco Island. Learn valuable tips on how to communicate newsworthy information about your company directly to local and national media, and about how to work with the CVB and LHA so they can include your company’s information in their story pitches and news releases about vacations in the Paradise Coast region to national and international travel and news media. Free continental breakfast and networking from 8:30am-9:00am; valuable public relations and media relations insights from Lou Hammond, chairman and founder of Lou Hammond & Associates from 9:00am to 10:00am; and a panel of regional and national business and travel media along with Q & A from 10:00am to 11:00am. The Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort is offering a special event rate of $99 per person on June 13 for attendees that would like to stay at the resort the night prior to the event.
