Bascom Palmer Eye Institute of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is pleased to announce its inaugural gala “Evening of Vision – Under the Stars, will be held Friday evening, January 22, 2016 at Bascom Palmer’s new, landmark eye center in Naples.
“Bascom Palmer’s gala is an exciting new event for the Naples social season,” says Alan R. Korest, gala honorary chair. “More importantly, the gala raises significant funds for vision health and patient care in our community.”
More than 250 people are expected to attend the gala that will include a cocktail reception, building tours, gourmet dining, dancing and auction. Entertainment includes the University of Miami Frost School of Music Stamps Live Quintet and special performance by Glenn Basham, professor emeritus, also from the Frost School. Tickets are available for $ 250 and proceeds from the evening benefit Bascom Palmer Eye Institute’s Ambulatory Surgery Center at Naples. The enthusiastic Gala committee members include: Usha Ahuja, Reg Buxton, John Clough, Andrew E. Cummins, Stephanie Goforth, Jonathan E. Gopman, Colleen Murphy, Patrick H. Neale, William O’Meara and Mayela Rosales.
