By Coastal Breeze News Staff

Coastal Breeze News just can’t stop celebrating Earth Day! Even if it means making a mistake to do so. In our last edition, we posted the winners of the “One Billion Acts of Green” contest for Manatee Middle School. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students provided 140 entries in the forms of poems, posters, projects and papers all celebrating Earth Day and giving insight into ways in which we can help save the planet.

Seventh Grade First Place Winner, Lourdes Barajas, dazzled judges and readers with her play pertaining to Earth Day. Unfortunately, Coastal Breeze attached the wrong name to her work. We truly apologize to Lourdes and wish to re-share her Earth Day inspired play, “Changing Others.”
