Collier County Museums, in conjunction with the Museum of Military Memorabilia and the Friends of the Collier County Museums, commemorate the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, one of the most important historical events of the 20th century. The ceremony will take place on June 7th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Naples Depot Museum and will honor all those who fought on the beaches of Normandy, featuring guest speakers, reenactors, and military vehicles. Additionally, a special exhibit will pay tribute to the noble Allied men and women who braved the Atlantic Wall in an attempt to free Europe from the scourge of fascism. Admission is free and open to the public.
