The Collier County Lodging & Tourism Alliance (CCLTA), an organization dedicated to addressing regional issues of mutual importance to the tourism industry and the community, will host Jim Gibson, Director of Marketing for Seminole Casino Immokalee, on September 26at the Hilton Naples, 5111 U.S. 41 N. The event begins at 8 a.m. with registration and social, with the program starting at 8:30 a.m.
A New Orleans native, Gibson has approximately 20 years of casino marketing experience. He joined the Seminole Casino Immokalee in March 2011 and has previous work experience at the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino in Lakeside, California; Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada; and Red Hawk Casino in Placerville, California.
In his presentation, Gibson will discuss the past, current and future expansion plans for the Seminole Casino Immokalee, one of five Seminole Casinos throughout the state of Florida that are owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe. He also will provide some helpful tips and advice as to how local tourism partners may do business with the casino.
The program is free of charge for CCLTA members and $10 per person for non-members. Seating is limited and advance registration is required.
