Collier County is home to a variety of tropical flora, most of which can be cultivated in your own yard. Growing and maintaining healthy plants can often present challenges, especially if you are new to managing tropical foliage. The Collier County Extension Office has Master Gardeners to offer guidance on your horticultural endeavors.

If you are having difficulty with your shrubs, don’t know what kind of insects are attacking your plants or if you are having any other plant problems, the Master Gardeners can help. Collier County Master Gardeners are trained and certified by the County Horticulture Agent. Each Master Gardener must complete the training curriculum in addition to 75 volunteer hours prior to earning their certification.

For your convenience, Master Gardeners are available to answer your gardening questions at several locations across Collier County:
