Co-Ed Softball 4-26

In week two of co-ed softball on another beautiful night at the ball field as the smell of fresh hot dogs carried over the dugouts, Kretch’s notched another victory this time against the Snook Inn 21-6. Led by AJ Parker ( 4 hits) and Joe Pitrone (2 hits) each with HR’s  Kretch’s  bats were too much for the Snook Inn to handle. For the ladies Alex Stagpole had 2 hits along with Naomi Smith,Julie Mans ,Grethall Ortiz and Lucy Crabtree all adding singles.  The Snook being behind going into the 5thinning 12-1 mounted a rally behind Teresa Gangl (4 hits ) Melinda Long ( 2 hits0 and Lindsey Bott”s ( 2hits) to close the gap to but couldn’t come back all the way back.  Ray Underfer and Pete O’Neill each had two hits for the Snook.

In the second game of the night Rookies posted its second win  defeating Stans  21 to 4.

Marc Canady led Rookies with 4 hits, Leo Rill and Bruce Bell each added 3 hits and Sean Shea had 2 hits including an HR. For the ladies Roe Tamagani stayed hot at the plate with 3 hits along with Missy Canady adding 3 of her own. The win sets up the first meeting between the two undefeated teams Rookies and Kretch’s next week. Stan’s struggled a bit at the plate was led by Meagan Waterman’s 2 hits, Tracy Decker , Greg St Amour and Brad Frazier all contributed with hits as well.

Thanks to BeachDogs for coming out and providing their delicious hot dogs for purchase they will out every week so come out hungry to the ball park.
