Center for the Arts Adult Education Schedule Available

Marco Island Center for the Arts has released the print version of its 2019-2020 Adult Art Education Schedule. The catalog is available for pickup at the Art Center or is obtainable online at

The catalog has beginner, intermediate and advanced classes and related descriptions. Available for students are classes in: Acrylic, Clay, Drawing, Mixed Media, Oil, Pastel, Specialty, Stone and Watercolor. Popular instructors return and new Visiting Artists have been added to the schedule.

In the clay studio new offerings include “Hand building Illustrated Pottery” with Chandra DeBuse, “Advanced Wheel” with Peter Jones, and “Exploring Texture” with Glenn Woods. New Specialty class instructors are Lorelle Bacon for “Beginners Metal Clay Jewelry” and “Next Level Metal Clay Jewelry.” For the popular medium of watercolor, visiting artist Cedar Kindy will offer five workshops and new instructor Tom Lynch will teach “Watercolor Secrets Revealed.”

Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Marco Island Center for the Arts by taking a class or workshop! The Art Center is located at 1010 Winterberry Drive. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 AM – 4 PM. Classes can be reserved by calling 239-394-4221 or on the Center’s website
