Cats have blown in from all over the county, and Collier Domestic Animal Services (DAS) needs help weathering the storm! Due to the influx in the cat population at the shelter, DAS has lowered the adoption price of felines to $5 for the month of September.

“During the summer months, we always see an increase in the cat population,” said DAS Director Darcy Andrade. “We hope offering adoptions at such a low price will alleviate the pressures of the feline population surge.”

Every adoption includes: spay/neuter surgery, age appropriate vaccinations, FELV/FIV test, flea prevention and deworming, Collier County license, microchip with registration and 30 days of free pet insurance – a total value of more than $400.
