This map has no date on it but it has to be from around 1964 or 1965. It shows the old road into the Isles of Capri. There is no Jolley bridge. Visitors had to go by boat or though Goodland to get to Marco.

This map was produced by Ginny and Frank Leach, Isles of Capri Marina and Motel. They ran the St. Tropez Restaurant. They advertised boats, motors, tackle shop, ramp, gas, oil, ice, bait and charter boats.

NOW

The winter bocce season is over. Two teams, the Sailfish and Hurricanes, both had a 13 and 1 season. The Sailfish team was composed of Paula and Yvonne Rhoads, Ann Marie Salvaggio and Mary Ann Fisher.

The Hurricanes are Gary and Darla Goetzelman, Dave Moenkhaus, Sam Bressler with Bev Dalton as an alternate.

When it came to March Madness playoff it was a contest between the Island Breeze and the Dolphins with the score 14 to 14. The Breeze pulled off the victory.
