Meals of Hope is looking for volunteers of all ages and abilities to spend a few hours assembling meals that will feed thousands of people in our own community.
“Team Hope needs as many volunteers as we can get,” said Bill Morris, event organizer
The Marco Island Meals of Hope annual packaging event is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 8:30 AM at the Marco Island Charter Middle School.
To be successful, the packaging event requires 500 volunteers who will work together as a team. Packaging takes approximately two hours, and results in more than 200,000 meals for people in need.
The packaging event brings together the entire Marco Island community and has become an annual tradition of friends and neighbors working together for a good cause. Making it even more enjoyable, this year the music of Kevin Fitzgerald will be featured. “His music keeps everything alive and exciting. We are really lucky to have Kevin as part of our team,” said Morris.
Join the Meals of Hope team and make a difference! Everyone is welcome and needed to help. No special skills are required.
