Breast Cancer and Lymphedema should be matters of concern for all women and the people who love them. The lifetime risk of developing Breast Cancer is one in eight.
Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support, Inc. (BBBCSI) is a 501(c) (3) Charity which raises funds for the diagnosis and treatment of Breast Cancer for residents of Collier County and Bonita Springs. In addition the group offers emotional and educational support for women with Breast Cancer and/or Lymphedema. BBBCSI is run solely by volunteers, all of whom are Breast Cancer Survivors. They have no paid employees or professional fund raisers and 100% of proceeds from their events remain in our community. The Support Group Members are women of all ages from 20 to 80, some of whom are 30 year survivors and some who are just starting treatment.
They offer access to professionals in direct or related fields at many of their meetings. The members of the group are encouraged to keep in touch withone another outside of regular meetings, as well. Their regular support group meetings are held on the second and last Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 PM at the Tedford Education Building at NCH, 4th Avenue North, Naples. They also meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon and suggest interested women call 239-417-4600 for meeting details
