On display for your enjoyment at the Marco Island Center for the Arts are the vibrant and bold creation of “adult students” from clay, acrylic, oil, drawing, mix media and watercolors. Blessed with the opportunity to work with great teachers from the Center for the Arts, the adult students are eager to take their art to the next level. The level of participation has been exemplary with talent, passion, creativity and resilience. The adult students are grateful for the instruction they received from their art mentors. All the instructors teach classes at the Center for the Arts.

The Adult Student Show is currently on display at the Marco Island Center for the Arts and invites the public to stop by and view the Exhibit. This multimedia exhibition is about the talented adult students who learned their techniques from the best instructors from the Center for the Arts.

The Center for the Arts offers “Introduction to Clay” and invite students to come out of their shell and join the classes. They even have clay classes that are turtle themed to create a platter or chip and dip bowls, which is perfect for beginners.

For the more advanced, there is “Beyond Basic Clay Wheels” classes or if you want to build a unique tea pot, they have classes for you also.

For acrylics, they have beginners and advanced classes under Diane Reed Eiler or JoAnn Sandborn. They will help develop your own artistic vision through the versatility of acrylic.

Artist Phyllis Pransky will inspire you to think like an artist. The water color classes of Diane Reed Eiler will build on your individual skills and confidence while discussing basic techniques and color.
