The Marco Island Center for the Arts invites the public to view artwork in all mediums produced by the Center’s very own adult students, on display until April 18, weekdays from 9 AM to 4 PM.

The “Adult Student Show” was judged by artist, photographer and gallery manager Kelly Fisher. She said, “The artists of every medium put forth a true showcase of talent, creativity and passion for the works they submitted.”

The winners of the 2017 “Adult Student Show” are “Water Lily” by Kristina W. Frick (1st Place), “Provitamin A beta-carotene” by Vera Ripley (2nd Place), and “Florence” by Wanda Coady (3rd Place). Honorable Mentions were given to “Flower Pot” by Etoila Bristow and “Sunflowers” by Betty Kight.

In the La Petite Galerie the Marco Island Academy is displaying artwork from Mr. Rob Eder’s 4th Block Drawing class. The student’s group artwork illustrates quotes on a large frame format.
